# Service Alert: Continued rail disruptions impacting East-West and North-South

The East–West and North–South (NT corridor) rail lines remain out of service, and track owners are still conducting assessments.

Current advice we are getting indicates that the earliest potential reopening will be on Monday, 2 March 2026.

We will continue to receive freight moving to and from Western Australia and the Northern Territory, and will utilise road transport where capacity permits. Extended transit times should be expected.
