# Wine Australia Cancels Exporters License

Wine Australia has completed an investigation into the conduct of Private Label Services, which has continued to source and export wines from Jindalee Road Wines. The export license of JIndalee Road Wines was rescinded in June 2024.

Wine Australia has cancelled the export license of Private Label Services Pty Ltd, citing a commitment to ensure customers are confident of correct wine labels. Wine labels reveal information about vintage, variety, and geographical origin.

The wine industry has a strong culture of compliance and encourages reporting of suspected breaches of Australian wine regulations. Wine Australia has only cancelled or suspended eight export licenses in the last 10 years from more than 1800 active holders.

Private Label Services Pty Ltd can make an application for review of the cancellation of their export license at the Administrative Review Tribunal. Wine Australia is mandated to issue or cancel export licenses as deemed necessary.
