Service Alert: Heavy rain and flooding disrupting East-West and North-South rail operations

Rail services on the East-West and North-South (NT corridor) routes are currently affected by heavy rainfall in northern South Australia. Recent downpours over the weekend have washed away sections of track near Port Augusta.

With more rain forecasted, track repairs are expected to take at least a week to complete. To minimise delays, MTF will continue freight collections and implement contingency road services where needed.
